what a gift these forums are


so we have about 6 years left I dont claim to be able to predict what exactly the shift and change will be but its on its way.
I have surrendered to the fact that almost all of my art has had some tie into to this event, the fears the hopes the dreams, my medicine work, visions, all of it seems to keep pointing to this date.
it is my intention to share my art with your open and beautiful minds.

oh dear : wow

the headress is in my feeling a very significant piece. there is something so remarkably beautiful and scary about that one.

ok, i really want to learn how to do something similar, by layering over photographs... perhaps to the point where i eventually just pull hte photograph from the whole image, but who knows.

i get the impression you're drawing these ultra sexy lines and textures in photoshop somehow? i remember you mentioning somewhere that you use this specific filter quite a lot? i'm particularly drawn to the technique in the leah piece... and fascinated with the headress.

i am just learning how to draw in illustrator... not sure exactly how i would approach something to really make it look sooo... brushstrokey and precise. i already have some visions of what i would do with such an ability to draw such things.

i'm going to south america soon to do some deep shamanic work, and i'm already (and have been for a while) planning a series of works to chronicle the various angels and spirits that i encounter and befriend... or just see in passing. seems to me this technique might be a special key in such work.
